Tournaments

Enjoy baseball the way it was meant to be. Doubleday Tournaments are an experience that will stay with you and your players for a lifetime. Former minor-league baseball club owner, Brad Shover, built Doubleday Country Inn and Farm. It is located on a 90 acre farm along the foothills of Perry County. The field is in a secluded area of the mountains and is a well maintained and beautifully groomed replica of the "Field of Dreams".

When your team competes in a tournament at the Doubleday Country Inn and Farm, your team will have the choice of staying in either the 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a bed and breakfast or just 10 miles away in historic Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Between games, you can go fishing, enjoy hiking on the 90 acres, horseback riding, visit Waggoner's Gap Hawk Sanctuary (home of the Red Tail Hawk and largest migration site for hawks and golden eagles) or simply relax in the great atmosphere of the Doubleday Country Inn and Farm.

The first team to make reservations will stay at the farmhouse and awake into their fantasy with a country breakfast. Rent is $500 per night (this includes breakfast and PA sales tax). The house has 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, and sleeps 18 (or more, if you choose to bring sleeping bags). Ask about meal packages for your team as well as team cook-outs.

Please register directly with Doubleday.
