Fundraisers

Doubleday Fundraiser Program  
We offer a unique Fundraising program for organizations like yours. It  is as simple as:

  •  Looking at our schedule for our  fantasy baseball season
  • Selecting your game day and time
  • The two teams are made up of 12 players each. You should sell the tickets for a minimum of $100.00 each(We have groups that have sold them for as high as $500.00).
  •  Doubleday will need $1,000.00 for the use of the field, uniforms, facility and major league ball player.  We suggest you try to get a few corporate sponsors.
  • You can earn a minimum of $1,400.00 by selling the 24 slots to play on one of the teams for $100.00 each.
  • You will also earn $2.50 per person for those attending as general admission (This is ½ of the gate fee).  You can expect to earn another  $500.

 Autograph signings:
You can keep the first $1,000.00 of the autograph money, after the first $1,000.00 you keep 60%. If you do 2 games you keep all of the autograph money.

You should sell the autograph tickets prior to your event for the major leaguer that your game is with.  You will also have the chance to do an autograph signing prior to your event at the camp hill mall (or an approved off sight location).  This will help earn additional funds for your group as well as help advertise your game day.

Picnic:
You may also choose to have a catered  picnic during your games.  The catered picnics start around $10.00 per adult, children under 10 $5.00.  You charge what you want and sell tickets ahead.  Keep anything over the base price.

You can earn: $1,400.00 per game 
$500.00 General Admission  
$4,000.00 Autographs  
$500.00 Picnic tickets  
$ 6,400.00 Total earnings  

Incentives for hosting your fundraising with the Doubleday:  


 
Autograph signing with one of our major Leaguer prior to your event and advertise your fundraising event.  We will give you all the income from the autograph signings if you play 2 games and split the income with you if you do 1 game.  These players can bring in up to $15.00 per autograph.  Feel free to take him to your location, or use our booth at the camp hill mall.  The mall will advertise your signing. You could sell tickets for the autograph session prior to the signing. The day of your event you will also have the opportunity to sell tickets for autographs at  the Doubleday with your player.

 Have major leaguers autograph items to be used for auctioning off at your event or later in the year. (you can get balls and bats donated from local sporting good stores )

We will offer gift certificates for our fantasy baseball and our bed & breakfast for you to raffle off or use as prizes for incentives.
